BTJunkie è stato rimosso dai risultati di Google

logo cry babyGoogle ha rimosso a sorpresa il noto BTJunkie dai risultati delle ricerche. L’azione di Google segue il DMCA di Fox su un torrent del film AVATAR.

L’azione di Google non è isolata, mesi fa bannava Pirate Bay per poi farlo riapparire in seguito con delle scuse. Secondo TorrentFreak, la rimozione di BTJunkie è avvolta ancora dal mistero  e verrà prima o poi svelata..

Ricordano che le richieste di takedown sono quasi sempre analizzate manualmente. Talvolta questo meccanismo porta a degli errori che vengono poi corretti in seguito. Il problema è che l’home page di Pirate Bay non ospita e non ospitava alcun torrent, non si capisce ancor oggi come abbiano agito per il takedown.

Ecco il “comunicato” di Google:

“In response to a complaint we received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint that caused the removal(s) at ChillingEffects.org,”

Provate una ricerca su Google con il termine BTJunkie, noterete a fondo pagina una frase “misteriosa”:

In risposta a una lamentela ricevuta ai sensi della legge americana Digital Millennium Copyright Act (Legge sul copyright digitale), abbiamo eliminato 1 risultato(i) da questa pagina. Se lo desideri, puoi leggere la lamentela DMCA (Legge sul copyright digitale) che ha provocato l’eliminazione all’indirizzo ChillingEffects.org.
