Aumentiamo la velocità di scaricamento via FTP

Talvolta si preferisce il vecchio FTP sebbene le garanzie di performance siano nettamente inferiori in uno scontro tra Bittorrent – FTP. Ebbene, sappiate che esiste anche il “Download Segmentato”. Non ci credete che il download segmentato vi fornisca maggiori performance nei download FTP ?

Riflettiamo un attimo. Il download segmentato è la tecnica di un download manager, “spezzetta” i files da scaricare in piccole parti, come se si trattasse di una torta. Spezzettando il file in piccole parti è possibile fare in modo che un download via FTP che segnala una velocità massima di download di 30k possa aumentare, raggiungendo il nostro limite di download indifferentemente il nostro provider sia Alice, Infostrata, Tele2 & Co.

Che fare ? S0no tanti i Client FTP che supportano il download segmentato, ricordiamo CUTE FTP, SmartFTP ma anche LFTP (Linux). Ricordatevi che il download segmentato non è abilitato di default in tutti i client FTP, dovete entrare quasi sempre nelle impostazioni e cercare l’opzione apposita, inserendo la dimensione massima, oltre ai quali il download sarà segmentato.
